Disclosure of Confidential Examination Report Information

The Kansas Office of the State Bank Commissioner issued this directive to streamline the process for state-chartered banks obtaining corporate surety bonds. The Commissioner grants blanket approval for banks to disclose specific confidential examination data, including adversely classified asset ratios and aggregate dollar amounts, directly to surety companies. This exemption applies only when required for coverage and excludes other sensitive details such as composite ratings or customer information, which remain protected.
