Final Regulation to amend Regulation 45-102 respecting Resale of Securities
The Minister of Finance approved the Autorité des marchés financiers' regulation to amend Regulation 45-102 respecting Resale of Securities. This amendment adds a new paragraph to Appendix D of Regulation 45-102, granting an exemption from the prospectus requirement for start-up crowdfunding distributions in all jurisdictions except Manitoba. The regulation comes into force on September 21, 2021, with a specific filing-based effective date provision for Saskatchewan.
