CB Circular 02/1996: Authorised Signatories for Financial Markets Department
The Bank of Zambia issued Circular 02/1996 to update the authorized signatories for its Financial Markets Department regarding government treasury bill and bond trading transactions. The directive immediately appoints Dr. Abraham Mwenda as a Category A signatory and Malcom Chileshe as a Category B signatory for executing related payments and documents. This update simultaneously revokes the signing authority of Dr. S. Musokotwane while confirming that all other previously designated signatories remain valid.

Re: Authorised Signatures for Financial Markets Department
Further to C.B Circular No. 7/95 dated 19th June 1995, Financial Markets Department has included two additional authorised signatories for purposes of executing Government Treasury bills and bond trading payments and documents.
The two are:-
Category A
Dr Abraham Mwenda - Director, Financial Markets
Category B
Malcom Chileshe - Assistant Manager, Retail Securities & Market Operations
Above authorised signatories are effective immediately. Kindly delete that of Dr S Musokotwane. All other signatures contained in circular 7/95 remain valid.
