CB Circular 07/1995: Authorised Signatories for Financial Markets Department

The Bank of Zambia’s Director of Financial Markets has authorized two additional signatories, Mr Peter Banda and Mr Rainford Chirwa, for executing cheques and instruments related to securities trading. The circular simultaneously mandates the immediate deletion of Mr Bright Simwanza’s signature while confirming that all other existing authorizations remain valid. It further designates Mr Malcom Chileshe and Mr Jonathan Chipili as the approved signatories for foreign exchange trading and open market operations.

AUTHORISED SIGNATORIES FOR FINANCIAL MARKETS DEPARTMENT

Further to CB Circular No. 20/94 dated 30th December 1994, two additional signatories are hereby authorised with immediate effect for purposes of executing cheques and instruments in respect of Securities trading at the Bank of Zambia. The two authorised signatures are:

CATEGORY A

Mr Peter Banda, Assistant Director, Liquidity Forecast Division

CATEGORY B

Mr Rainford Chirwa, Assistant Manager, Retail Securities Section.

You are kindly requested to delete the signature of Mr Bright Simwanza. All other signatures remain valid.
