The Louisiana Office of Financial Institutions issued its January 2012 Monthly Bulletin to report on various banking activities including branch openings, closures, and relocations. Whitney Bank proposed closing twenty-three branches across multiple states, while First NBC Bank, Liberty Bank, and others initiated several branch closures and new openings. The bulletin also recorded changes of location for main offices and branches, the establishment of new loan production offices, and the creation of subsidiary entities by Gulf Coast Bank and Trust Company and Jeff Davis Bank & Trust Company.
