Central Bank of Jordan Circular No. 15009/23/2 on Macroeconomic Model Data Collection

The Central Bank of Jordan requires licensed banks to submit specific loan and facility data for the third, sixth, and ninth quarters of 2016. Banks must provide details on Loan to Value ratios, total residential and commercial real estate loans, and facility values by collateral type within two weeks of the circular's date. This data submission is mandated for the purpose of building a macroeconomic model in cooperation with the International Monetary Fund.

Greetings,

Further to our Circular No. (2752/23) dated 10/4/2014, and based on the provisions of Article (45/A) of the Central Bank of Jordan Law No. (23) of 1971 and its amendments, and within the framework of the Central Bank's preparations to build a macroeconomic model in cooperation with the International Monetary Fund, you are requested to provide us with the data shown in Table No. (1) and Table No. (2) attached, for the first, second, and third quarters of 2016. These data must reach us within a maximum period of two weeks from the date of this circular, with the continuation of providing them on a quarterly basis.
