The Central Bank of Jordan amends Article 14 of the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Instructions for Banks No. 14/2018. The amendment requires banks to implement obligations contained in relevant international resolutions, specifically including all resolutions issued under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations. This directive applies to banks operating in the Kingdom of Jordan and was issued on May 5, 2019.

Circular to Banks Operating in the Kingdom
Greetings,
Following the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Instructions for Banks No. (14/2018) dated 26/6/2018, we kindly inform you of the amendment to Article (14) concerning the implementation of Security Council resolutions, which shall read as follows:
"The Bank shall implement the obligations contained in relevant international resolutions that are required to be enforced, including all resolutions issued under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations."
