Greetings,
Based on the provisions of Article (22/A) of the Exchange Business Law No. (44) of 2015 regarding providing the Central Bank with periodic information and data requested in accordance with the provisions of the aforementioned law and the regulations and instructions issued pursuant to it, and in reference to the "Balances of Jordanian Dinar and Foreign Currencies as of the end of each month" statement form, and for the purposes of the aforementioned statistical disclosure, we emphasize the necessity of your reporting the amount of restricted cash balances held at banks under the item "Jordanian Dinar and Foreign Currencies and Precious Metals / Banks," specifying the volume of such restricted balances and clarifying the reasons for them being restricted (e.g., collateral or otherwise) according to the attached modified statement. You are required to complete it and provide us with the original, effective from the data for the month of June 2021, and to ensure it reaches us no later than the 10th day of the end of each month.
We emphasize the necessity of exercising utmost accuracy in all data prepared for the Central Bank of Jordan and ensuring that it matches the company's official records and ledgers.
