Central Bank of Jordan: Renewal of Actuary License for 2023

The Central Bank of Jordan requires actuaries to submit license renewal applications for 2023 by Thursday, November 24, 2022. Applicants must provide a completed renewal form, a statement of actuarial work performed in the Kingdom, a non-criminal record certificate, proof of at least fifteen hours of specialized training or conference participation, and payment of annual fees. The license period expires on December 31 of each year, and applications must be submitted no later than forty-five days prior to expiration.

Dear Actuaries,

Subject: Renewal of License for 2023

Based on the provisions of paragraph (a) of Article (11) of the Instructions for Licensing Actuaries, Regulating Their Work and Responsibilities No. (3) of 2003 and its amendments, which states as follows: "The actuary must submit an application for the renewal of his license annually, no later than forty-five days before the expiration of the license period, which falls on the thirty-first of December of each year, according to the form prepared for this purpose..."

We request that you submit your license renewal application for 2023 by no later than Thursday, November 24, 2022, and provide us with the following:

  1. Completion of the license renewal form available on the Central Bank of Jordan's website and attaching the specified requirements within it.
  2. A statement detailing the actuarial work performed in the Kingdom during the year.
  3. A non-criminal record certificate from the competent authorities.
  4. Documentation confirming your enrollment in specialized training courses in actuarial sciences or your participation in conferences or seminars in actuarial sciences, with a duration of no less than fifteen hours.
  5. Payment of the annual fees due and attaching the deposit receipt.
