CIEX No. 02/2026: Bank and Financial Entity Account Balance Information

Effective March 2, 2026, banks and financial entities must submit account balance information requests exclusively via digital means, either by email to trámites@bcb.gob.bo with an accredited digital signature or through the institutional website's digital services page. These submissions must include explicit authorization for the debit of the current reserve account or reserve account to cover the balance confirmation fee. This directive aims to optimize the processing of information requests from entities within the National Financial System.

Gentlemen:

With the purpose of optimizing the handling of information requests for balances required by entities of the National Financial System, it is communicated that starting from March 2 of the current fiscal year, these requests must be made exclusively in digital format (with accredited digital signature) to the email address trámites@bcb.gob.bo, or via the institutional website https://www.bcb.gob.bo/tramites_digitales, specifying their express authorization for the debit of their current reserve account or reserve account (as applicable) for the balance confirmation commission.
