The Central Bank of Bolivia establishes new operating hours for cash and check operations at the Treasury Management Office, effective March 2, 2020. The schedule specifies distinct time slots for receiving external checks, presenting financial institution payment orders, processing payments in Bolivianos or US Dollars, making legal reserve cash deposits, and handling general public services such as commemorative coin sales and securities operations. This circular explicitly repeals the previous External Circular CIEX No. 50/2019 dated August 7, 2019, and applies to all entities within the financial system, public sector entities, and the general public.

The Central Bank of Bolivia communicates that starting March 2, 2020, requests for cash and/or check operations conducted at the Cash Offices of the Treasury Management of the Central Bank of Bolivia must comply with the following schedules:
TYPE OF OPERATION ATTENTION HOURS Receipt of external checks 08:30 — 12:30 Presentation of checks and/or Payment Orders from Financial Intermediation Entities to the Sub-Manager of Analysis and Programming of Monetary Material 09:00 — 10:30 Payments of checks and/or Payment Orders in Bolivianos (Bs) or US Dollars (USD) to the Financial System 09:00 — 12:30 Cash deposits in Bs or USD for Legal Reserve 14:00 — 15:30 Sale of Commemorative Coins 08:30 — 16:00 Receipt of cash deposits from the general public 08:30 — 16:00 Securities Operations 08:30 — 16:00 Withdrawal of cash via Payment Order and/or Treasury Checks 08:30 — 16:00 Fractioning of Monetary Material for the general public 08:30 — 16:00
By means of this document, External Circular CIEX No. 50/2019 of August 7, 2019, is hereby repealed. This current circular takes effect from the date of its publication.
