CIEX No. 12/2020: Modification to External Circular CIEX No. 11/2020 Regarding Cash Operations at the Treasury Management Department
The Central Bank of Bolivia establishes new operating hours for cash and check operations at the Treasury Management Department, effective March 3, 2020. The circular specifies distinct time slots for receiving external checks, presenting financial institution checks, processing payments in Bolivianos or US Dollars, and handling legal reserve cash deposits. Ladies and Gentlemen:
The Central Bank of Bolivia announces that starting on March 3, 2020, requests for cash and/or check operations conducted at the Cash Desks of the Treasury Management Department of the Central Bank of Bolivia must comply with the following schedules:

| Cash deposits in Bs or USD for Legal Reserve | 14:00 – 15:30 |
| Sale of Commemorative Coins | 08:30 – 18:30 |
| Reception of cash deposits from the general public | 08:30 – 18:30 |
| Securities Operations | 08:30 – 18:30 |
| Withdrawal of cash via Payment Order and/or Management Checks | 08:30 – 18:30 |
| Breaking Monetary Material for the general public | 08:30 – 18:30 |
By this means, External Circular CIEX No. 11/2020 of February 28, 2020, is hereby repealed. This circular takes effect from the date of its publication.
