CIEX No. 12/2022 - Authorization of Banco Mercantil Santa Cruz S.A. as a Contingency Participant in the Deferred Liquidation Module of the LIP

The Central Bank of Bolivia authorizes Banco Mercantil Santa Cruz S.A. (participant code MLD1003, abbreviation BME) as a contingency participant in the Deferred Liquidation Module (MLD) of the Integrated Payment Liquidation System (LIP), effective March 14, 2022. This authorization permits the bank to send and receive Electronic Fund Transfer Orders (OETF) through the MLD. Participants are instructed to use the MLDConsultasService to retrieve the public keys of all enabled entities for their system configurations.

AS A CONTINGENCY PARTICIPANT OF THE DEFERRED LIQUIDATION MODULE (MLD) OF THE LIP

Gentlemen:

The Central Bank of Bolivia (BCB) notifies all participants of the Integrated Payment Liquidation System (LIP) that Banco Mercantil Santa Cruz S.A. has successfully completed the incorporation process into the Deferred Liquidation Module (MLD) of the LIP, meeting the requirements of current regulations; consequently, as of March 14, 2022, it is authorized as a contingency participant and may send and receive Electronic Fund Transfer Orders (OETF) through the MLD according to the following details:

Additionally, in accordance with the Operational and IT Guides of the MLD through the MLDConsultasService service - method obtain Certificates, participants may consult the public key of all entities enabled in the MLD. In this regard, it is requested to take this information into account to configure the participant data in the corresponding IT developments.
