The Central Bank of Bolivia mandates that public entities and financial system institutions submit operational request procedures through the Single Correspondence Window (VUC) from 08:00 to 12:00 on business days, effective March 18, 2020, during the national health emergency and quarantine. This measure ensures same-day processing of documents directed to the relevant operational areas. Concurrently, paragraphs 1 and Annex 1 of External Circulars CIEX No. 8/2020 and CIEX No. 9/2020 are temporarily suspended until the emergency declaration is lifted, while paragraphs 2, 3, and 4 of those circulars remain in force.

Ladies and Gentlemen:
In compliance with the provisions established in Supreme Decree No. 4196 of March 17, 2020, the Central Bank of Bolivia (BCB) announces that starting March 18, 2020, public entities and financial system entities conducting operational request procedures must comply with the following provisions:
While the National Health Emergency Declaration and quarantine remain in effect in the territory of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, Operational Request Procedures will be received at the BCB through the Single Correspondence Window (VUC), on all business days from 08:00 to 12:00, for same-day processing. Furthermore, the procedures must be addressed to the corresponding operational area.
Temporarily and until the aforementioned Declaration is withdrawn, paragraph 1 and Annex 1 of External Circulars CIEX No. 8/2020 and CIEX No. 9/2020 of February 28, 2020, are suspended.
Paragraphs 2, 3, and 4 of the aforementioned External Circulars remain in force.
