CIEX No. 16/2022: First Quarter Contribution to the Savings Protection Fund
The Central Bank of Bolivia will automatically debit financial intermediation entities for the first quarter of 2022 contribution to the Savings Protection Fund on April 18, 2022. The debit amount equals 1.25 per thousand (1.25‰) of the daily average balance of public liabilities during the quarter, withdrawn from national and foreign currency current and reserve accounts. Entities are requested to ensure sufficient funds are available in their accounts to cover this deduction.

Gentlemen:
The Central Bank of Bolivia informs all financial intermediation entities that on April 18, 2022, pursuant to Article 518 of Law No. 393 on Financial Services of August 21, 2013, it will effect the automatic debit of the fee corresponding to the first quarter of 2022 to the Savings Protection Fund (contribution from financial entities) from their Current and Reserve Account or Reserve Account in national and foreign currency. The debited amount will be equivalent to one point two five per thousand (1.25‰) of the daily average balance of obligations with the public during the aforementioned quarter.
In this regard, we would appreciate your making the respective provision of funds.
