CIEX No. 20/2021: Information Capture Systems for the Central Bank of Bolivia
The Central Bank of Bolivia mandates Financial Intermediation Entities to update their information capture systems to include the Savings and Credit Cooperative 'San Pedro de Aiquile' R.L. and to use specific new software versions for reporting interest rates, exchange rates, and housing price indices. The updated systems become effective on July 13, 2021, requiring the submission of interest rate and exchange rate data with a one-day lag, while June 2021 housing price index data must be submitted by July 15, 2021. The cooperative is granted an extended deadline until July 15, 2021, to submit interest rate and exchange rate data for the period of July 1–11.

Gentlemen:
The Central Bank of Bolivia informs Financial Intermediation Entities that it will make available new versions of the Information Capture Systems, incorporating the Open Savings and Credit Cooperative “San Pedro de Aiquile” R.L., according to the following details:
- System for Capturing Operations for interest rates and exchange rates (Version 4.48).
- System for Capturing Information for the Housing Price Index (Version 2.09).
The new versions of the systems will be available on the ASFI intranet starting July 8, 2021, and will enter into force on July 13, 2021.
Interest rate and exchange rate information must be sent to the BCB using the new version 4.48 starting July 13, 2021, with information from the previous day. The Housing Price Index information corresponding to the month of June 2021 must be submitted by July 15, 2021, using the new version 2.09. In the case of the Savings and Credit Cooperative “San Pedro de Aiquile” R.L., it may send the interest rate and exchange rate information for July 1 to 11 by July 15, 2021.
