CIEX No. 21/2019: First Continuity Exercise from Alternate Site with MEFP, AsOBAN and Participating Entities - 2019
The Central Bank of Bolivia (BCB) conducts its first operational continuity exercise for 2019 by executing operations from its Alternate Processing Site (SAP) from 16:00 on Saturday, May 4, 2019, until 20:00 on Monday, May 6, 2019. Participating entities, including the Ministry of Economy and Public Finance (MEFP), the Bolivian Association of Banks (AsOBAN), and other participants, are instructed to coordinate and direct their electronic operations to the BCB's SAP during this window. Contact details for BCB officials responsible for IT and operational continuity are provided for coordination purposes.

With the objective of verifying the response levels of their operations and maintaining the availability of their services in the event of contingencies, the Central Bank of Bolivia (BCB) has scheduled the first operational continuity exercise for the 2019 management period.
For this purpose, the BCB will execute its operations from the Alternate Processing Site (SAP) starting at 16:00 hours on Saturday, May 4, 2019, until 20:00 hours on Monday, May 6, 2019. In this regard, I request that you instruct the corresponding instances to carry out the necessary coordination and actions so that the electronic operations of your entity are directed to the aforementioned SAP of the BCB.
