CIEX No. 21/2021: Second Quarter Contribution to the Saver Protection Fund
The Central Bank of Bolivia debits the second quarter 2021 contribution to the Saver Protection Fund from the current and reserve accounts of financial intermediation entities on July 15, 2021. The amount charged equals 1.25 per thousand (1.25%) of the daily average of public liabilities during the quarter. Financial entities are required to ensure sufficient funds are available in their accounts to cover this deduction.

Gentlemen:
The Central Bank of Bolivia notifies all financial intermediation entities that on July 15, 2021, in application of Article 518 of Financial Services Law No. 393, it will debit the fee corresponding to the second quarter of 2021 to the Saver Protection Fund (contribution from financial entities) from their Current and Reserve Account or Reserve Account in national and foreign currency. The debited amount will be equivalent to one point twenty-five per thousand (1.25%0) of the daily average of obligations with the public during the aforementioned quarter.
In this regard, we will appreciate your making the respective provision of funds.
