Authorized institutions are prohibited from initiating new import or export operations under the ALADI Reciprocal Payments and Credits Agreement (CPCR-ALADI) with the Central Bank of Brazil, effective April 15, 2019. The Central Bank of Bolivia will continue to receive reimbursements from the Central Bank of Brazil until all pending transactions are fully settled.

Dear Sirs and Madams:
Through this communication, we inform you that on April 5, 2019, the Secretary General of the Latin American Integration Association (ALADI) communicated that the Central Bank of Brazil decided to withdraw from the ALADI Reciprocal Payments and Credits Agreement (CPCR-ALADI), which will be effective as of April 15, 2019.
In this regard, from that date, Authorized Institutions will not be able to carry out new import and/or export operations under the CPCR-ALADI with the Central Bank of Brazil.
On the other hand, reimbursements from the Central Bank of Brazil will continue to be received until the settlement of all pending collection transactions.
