CIEX No. 24/2022: Authorization of Banco para el Fomento a Iniciativas Económicas S.A. as a Contingency Participant in the Deferred Settlement Module

The Central Bank of Bolivia authorizes Banco para el Fomento a Iniciativas Económicas S.A. (BIE) as a contingency participant in the Deferred Settlement Module (MLD) of the Integrated Payment Settlement System (LIP), effective May 30, 2022. This authorization permits BIE to send and receive Electronic Fund Transfer Orders (OETF) through the MLD under participant code MLD1033. Other participants are instructed to utilize the MLDConsultasService to retrieve BIE's public key for configuring their respective IT systems.

AS A CONTINGENCY PARTICIPANT OF THE DEFERRED SETTLEMENT MODULE (MLD) OF THE PAYMENT SETTLEMENT SYSTEM (LIP)

Gentlemen:

The Central Bank of Bolivia (BCB) notifies all participants of the Integrated Payment Settlement System (LIP) that Banco para el Fomento a Iniciativas Económicas S.A. (BIE) has successfully completed the incorporation process into the Deferred Settlement Module (MLD) of the LIP, meeting the requirements of current regulations; consequently, as of May 30, 2022, it is authorized as a contingency participant and may send and receive Electronic Fund Transfer Orders (OETF) through the MLD according to the following details:

Additionally, in accordance with the Operational and IT Guides of the MLD through the MLDConsultasService service - method obtain Certificates, participants may consult the public key of all entities authorized in the MLD. In this regard, participants are requested to take this information into account to configure participant data in the corresponding IT developments.
