CIEX No. 28/2022: New BCB Digital Certificate for the Payments System
The Central Bank of Bolivia (BCB) issued a new digital certificate for the Integrated Payments Clearing System (LIP), valid from July 1, 2022, to June 19, 2024. Financial entities using Web Services for LIP operations must schedule the exchange of digital certificates in the presence of a Public Notary. The Help Desk will handle scheduling requests starting from the date of the circular via phone or email.

Gentlemen:
The Central Bank of Bolivia (BCB) informs all participants in the Integrated Payments Clearing System (LIP), the Securities Deposit Entity of Bolivia (EDV), and Clearing and Settlement Exchanges of the issuance of a new BCB digital certificate for the LIP Payments System, valid from July 1, 2022, to June 19, 2024, available at the following address:

In accordance with procedures established in the Operational and IT Guide of the Integrated Payments Clearing System GOISLIP (V.2.0), entities that use Web Services for their operations in the LIP System must schedule the exchange of digital certificates in the presence of a Public Notary.
