The Central Bank of Bolivia requires Financial Intermediation Entities to submit weekly reports detailing their planned withdrawals of United States dollars via vault checks at least seven days in advance of the withdrawal date. These reports must be sent to the specified email address to allow the Treasury Department to process the requests, except in cases of force majeure or fortuitous events. This regulation supersedes External Circular SGBD No. 044/2009 issued on December 31, 2009.

Gentlemen:
With the purpose of maintaining an adequate service for the provision of cash in United States dollars (USD), the Central Bank of Bolivia (CBO) instructs Financial Intermediation Entities (FIE) to send reports of their weekly scheduling of withdrawals of this currency via CBO vault checks, according to the following details:
FINANCIAL INTERMEDIATION ENTITY PLANNED WITHDRAWAL OF USD FROM …. TO ….. OF …. OF 202.. (In USD)
This information must be sent at least 7 days in advance of the date the withdrawal is to be made, to the email address movimientosusd@bcb.gob.bo. Based on this scheduling, the Treasury Department will attend to the withdrawal of USD via checks requested by the FIEs at the CBO, except for situations of force majeure or fortuitous events to be evaluated by this Department.
Likewise, External Circular SGBD No. 044/2009 dated December 31, 2009, is hereby repealed effective as of this date.
