CIEX No. 3/2022: Fourth Quarter Contribution to the Saver Protection Fund
The Central Bank of Bolivia debits the fourth quarter 2021 contribution to the Saver Protection Fund from the current and reserve accounts of financial intermediation entities on January 17, 2022. The amount deducted equals 1.25 per thousand (1.25‰) of the daily average public liabilities during that quarter. Financial entities are required to ensure sufficient funds are available in their national and foreign currency accounts to cover this debit.

Gentlemen:
The Central Bank of Bolivia notifies all financial intermediation entities that on January 17, 2022, in application of Article 518 of Financial Services Law No. 393, it will debit the amount corresponding to the fourth quarter of 2021 to the Saver Protection Fund (contribution by financial entities) from their Current and Reserve Account or Reserve Account in national and foreign currency. The debited amount will be equivalent to one point two five per thousand (1.25‰) of the daily average of obligations with the public during the mentioned quarter.
In this regard, we will appreciate your making the respective provision of funds.
