CIEX No. 32/2020: Quarterly Contribution to the Savings Protection Fund
The Central Bank of Bolivia debits the quarterly contribution to the Savings Protection Fund from the current and reserve accounts of financial intermediation entities on July 15, 2020. The amount deducted equals 1.25 per thousand (1.25 ‰) of the daily average of public liabilities held during the second quarter of 2020. Financial entities are required to ensure sufficient funds are available in their national and foreign currency accounts to cover this debit.

Ladies and Gentlemen:
The Central Bank of Bolivia notifies financial intermediation entities that on July 15, 2020, in application of Article 518 of Financial Services Law No. 393, it will debit the quarterly fee (contribution from financial entities) from their Current and Reserve Account or Reserve Account in national and foreign currency.
The debited amount will be equivalent to one point two five per thousand (1.25 ‰) of the daily average of public liabilities during the second quarter of 2020; therefore, we kindly request that you make the respective provision of funds.
