CIEX No. 34/2021: New BCB Digital Certificate for the Payment System
The Central Bank of Bolivia (BCB) has replaced its digital certificate for the Deferred Liquidation Module (MLD) of the Integrated Payment Liquidation System (LIP), effective from 00:00 on September 23, 2021, until October 23, 2022. Participating financial entities are required to access the MLDConsultasService to consult certificate information and validate digital signatures in accordance with established operational procedures. The new certificate is available on the LIP Portal, and participants may contact the Help Desk for further assistance.

Gentlemen:
The Central Bank of Bolivia (BCB) informs participants in the Integrated Payment Liquidation System (LIP) of the change in the BCB's digital certificate for the Deferred Liquidation Module (MLD) of the LIP, valid from 00:00 hours on September 23, 2021, until October 23, 2022, which is available at the following address:
• LIP System Portal: http://portallip.bcb.gob.bo
In accordance with procedures established in the Operational and IT Guide of the MLD, participating entities of the MLD must access the MLDConsultasService service, which contains the necessary methods for participants to consult certificate information and the correct validation of the digital signature.
