CIEX No. 34/2023: Suspension of the Integrated Payment Clearing System (LIP) Scheduled for August 6, 2023
The Central Bank of Bolivia suspends the Integrated Payment Clearing System (LIP), including its Hybrid Clearing Module (MLH) and Deferred Clearing Module (MLD), from 00:00 to 23:59 on Sunday, August 6, 2023, to perform a technological update on the AIX Operating System Database. The service is scheduled to resume at 00:01 on Monday, August 7, 2023. Participants are advised to take necessary precautions regarding the sending and receiving of Electronic Fund Transfer Orders (OETF) through the MLH during this period. Gentlemen:
The Central Bank of Bolivia (BCB) informs participants in the Integrated Payment Clearing System (LIP) that on Sunday, August 6, 2023, it will carry out a technological update of the Database Engine of the AIX Operating System; therefore, from 00:00 to 23:59 hours, the service of the LIP System and its Hybrid Clearing Modules (MLH) and Deferred Clearing Modules (MLD) will be suspended, with the same being restored starting at 00:01 hours on Monday, August 7, 2023.
For the above reasons, participants are recommended to take the corresponding precautions for the sending and receiving of Electronic Fund Transfer Orders (OETF) through the MLD.
