CIEX No. 38/2022: Integration of CAPTCHA Authentication in the LIP Access Interface
The Central Bank of Bolivia mandates the integration of CAPTCHA authentication into the access interfaces for the Hybrid Settlement Module (MLH) and Deferred Settlement Module (MLD) of the Integrated Payment Settlement System (LIP). This security measure applies to all participants of the LIP and becomes effective on August 8, 2022. The Central Bank of Bolivia (BCB) notifies all participants of the Integrated Payment Settlement System (LIP) Hybrid Settlement Module (MLH) and Deferred Settlement Module (MLD) of the integration of CAPTCHA authentication in the access interfaces to the MLH and MLD modules of the LIP system, effective August 8, 2022, in order to strengthen the user authentication and identification process.
