CIEX No. 38/2023: Third Quarter Contribution to the Savings Protection Fund
The Central Bank of Bolivia will automatically debit financial intermediation entities on October 16, 2023, for their third-quarter 2023 contribution to the Savings Protection Fund. The amount charged equals 1.25 per thousand of the average daily balance of public liabilities during the quarter, deducted from national and foreign currency reserve or current accounts. Entities are requested to ensure sufficient funds are available in their accounts to cover this deduction.

Gentlemen:
The Central Bank of Bolivia notifies all financial intermediation entities that on October 16, 2023, in application of Article 518 of Financial Services Law No. 393 of August 21, 2013, it will effect the automatic debit of the fee corresponding to the third quarter of 2023 for the Savings Protection Fund (contribution by financial intermediation entities) from their Current and Reserve Account or Reserve Account in national and foreign currency. The debited amount will be equivalent to one point two five per thousand (1.25‰) of the average daily balance of obligations with the public in the aforementioned quarter.
In this regard, we will appreciate you making the respective provision of funds.
