CIEX No. 39/2020: LIP System Operating Hours for Friday, August 7, 2020
The Central Bank of Bolivia modifies the operating schedule of the Integrated Payment Settlement System (LIP) for Friday, August 7, 2020, in response to a municipal emergency decree halting activities in La Paz. While LIP operations originating from the rest of the country continue under normal hours, custody fund operations (F01, F02, and F03) are suspended. Participants are directed to contact the LIP Help Desk for any inquiries regarding these adjustments.

Ladies and Gentlemen:
The Central Bank of Bolivia (BCB) announces that, in accordance with the provision of the Municipal Emergency Operations Committee (COEM), which indicates that public and private activities will be paralyzed in the Municipality of La Paz on Friday, August 7, 2020, operations of the Integrated Payment Settlement System (LIP) originating from the rest of the country will be attended to normally under the current schedules, with the exception of custody fund operations (F01, F02, and F03).
