The Central Bank of Bolivia maintains normal operating hours for the Integrated Payment Liquidation System (LIP) on Friday, August 21, and Friday, August 28, 2020, in La Paz, despite municipal emergency decrees halting public and private activities. While standard operations continue, custody fund operations (F01, F02, and F03) are suspended. All other specified operations, including USD sales, repo transactions, maturity cancellations, and electronic operations with fiscal accounts, remain active during the scheduled hours.

Ladies and Gentlemen:
The Central Bank of Bolivia announces that, in response to the provision of the Municipal Emergency Operations Committee (COEM) indicating that public and private activities will be halted in the Municipality of La Paz on Fridays, August 21 and 28, 2020, operations of the Integrated Payment Liquidation System (LIP) will be attended to normally during the current schedules, with the exception of custody fund operations (F01, F02, and F03). Additionally, USD sales during the day and through the Bolsín, repo operations, maturity cancellations, direct sales through the BUN, placement of adjudicated securities, offering of securities in the money market, and electronic operations with fiscal checking accounts will be attended to.
