CIEX No. 46/2022: Third Quarter Contribution to the Savings Protection Fund
The Central Bank of Bolivia will automatically debit the third quarter 2022 contribution to the Savings Protection Fund from the current and reserve accounts of financial intermediation entities on October 17, 2022. The amount is calculated as 1.25 per thousand of the average daily balance of public obligations during the quarter. Entities are requested to ensure sufficient funds are available in their national and foreign currency accounts to cover this deduction.

Gentlemen:
The Central Bank of Bolivia notifies all financial intermediation entities that on October 17, 2022, in application of Article 518 of Law No. 393 on Financial Services of August 21, 2013, it will effect the automatic debit of the fee corresponding to the third quarter of 2022 to the Savings Protection Fund (contribution from financial entities) from their Current and Reserve Account or Reserve Account in national and foreign currency.
The debited amount will be equivalent to one point two five per thousand (1.25‰) of the average daily balance of obligations with the public during the aforementioned quarter.
In this regard, we will appreciate your making the respective provision of funds.
