CIEX No. 48/2020: Liquidity Credits of the Productive Development Bank S.A.M.
The Central Bank of Bolivia approved Resolution No. 096/2020, which establishes the regulations for liquidity credits extended to the Productive Development Bank S.A.M. (BDP SAM). Pursuant to Supreme Decree No. 4331, BDP SAM is required to activate the disbursement mechanism for these liquidity credits within a maximum period of ten (10) business days from the publication of the decree. This regulatory framework applies to BDP SAM, Development Financial Institutions (DFIs), and Savings and Credit Cooperatives (SCCs) holding a functioning license from the Financial System Supervision Authority (ASFI).

Ladies and Gentlemen:
The Central Bank of Bolivia (BCB) notifies the Productive Development Bank S.A.M., the Development Financial Institutions (DFIs), and the Savings and Credit Cooperatives (SCCs) that hold a Functioning License granted by the Financial System Supervision Authority (ASFI), that pursuant to Supreme Decree No. 4331, the BCB Board of Directors approved Resolution No. 096/2020, which approves the Regulations for Liquidity Credits to the Productive Development Bank S.A.M. (BDP SAM).
In this regard, the Final Provision of Supreme Decree 4331 establishes that the Productive Development Bank S.A.M. must enable the disbursement mechanism for the liquidity credits within a maximum period of ten (10) business days from the publication of the aforementioned Supreme Decree.
