CIEX No. 5/2023: New Versions of Information Capture Systems for the Central Bank of Bolivia
The Central Bank of Bolivia (BCB) releases updated versions of its information capture systems for interest rates and exchange rates (v4.52), electronic transactions and ATMs (v1.09), and the Housing Price Index (v2.13). Financial intermediaries must use these new versions for data submissions starting January 24, 2023, with the Housing Price Index for January due by February 15, 2023. Specifically, four named savings and credit cooperatives are required to submit interest rate, exchange rate, and ATM transaction data for the period of January 23–30, 2023, by January 31, 2023.

Gentlemen:
The Central Bank of Bolivia (BCB) notifies Financial Intermediation Entities that it will make available new versions of the Information Capture Systems, incorporating the entities Cooperative Savings and Credit Open "Paulo VI" R.L., Cooperative Savings and Credit Societal "Unión Santiago de Machaca USAMA" R.L., Cooperative Savings and Credit Societal "Cantera" R.L., and Cooperative Savings and Credit Societal "Hospicio" R.L., according to the following detail:
- System for Capturing Operations for interest rates and exchange rates (Version 4.52).
- System for Capturing Electronic Information and ATMs (Version 1.09)
- System for Capturing Information for the Housing Price Index (Version 2.13).
The new versions of the systems will be available on the ASFI intranet on January 16, 2023, and will enter into force on January 24, 2023.
Therefore, in the submission of information, the following must be considered: a) Information on interest rates and exchange rates as well as electronic transactions and ATMs must be sent to the BCB with the new versions (4.52 and 1.09, respectively) starting from January 24, 2023, with information from January 23. b) Information on the Housing Price Index corresponding to the month of January 2023 must be submitted by February 15, 2023, using the new version 2.13.
Exceptionally, the Cooperative Savings and Credit Open "Paulo VI" R.L., the Cooperative Savings and Credit Societal "Unión Santiago de Machaca USAMA" R.L., the Cooperative Savings and Credit Societal "Cantera" R.L., and the Cooperative Savings and Credit Societal "Hospicio" R.L., must send information on interest rates and exchange rates as well as electronic transactions and ATMs from January 23 to 30, 2023, by January 31, 2023.
