CIEX No. 50/2020: Third Quarter Fee - Contribution to the Savings Protection Fund
The Central Bank of Bolivia debits the third quarter 2020 contribution to the Savings Protection Fund from the current and reserve accounts of financial intermediation entities on October 15, 2020. The amount is calculated as 1.25 per thousand of the daily average public liabilities during the quarter. Entities are requested to ensure sufficient funds are available in their national and foreign currency accounts for this deduction.

Ladies and Gentlemen:
The Central Bank of Bolivia notifies financial intermediation entities that on October 15, 2020, in application of Article 518 of Financial Services Law No. 393, it will debit the fee corresponding to the third quarter of 2020 to the Savings Protection Fund (contribution from financial entities) from their Current and Reserve Account or Reserve Account in national and foreign currency. The debited amount will be equivalent to one point two five per thousand (1.25 ‰) of the daily average of liabilities to the public during the aforementioned quarter.
In this regard, we will appreciate your making the respective provision of funds.
