CIEX No. 54/2020: Implementation of Digital Signature in the Integrated Payment Clearing System (LIP)
The Central Bank of Bolivia requires financial entities participating in the Integrated Payment Clearing System (LIP) and ACCL to begin testing operation authorization using digital certificates issued by a certifying authority starting November 23, 2020. This implementation complies with Law No. 164 and the Digital Signature Regulation approved by Board Resolution No. 075/2020. Entities must coordinate testing schedules through the Help Desk via phone or email.

Ladies and Gentlemen:
The Central Bank of Bolivia (BCB) informs all participants in the Integrated Payment Clearing System (LIP) that, in compliance with Law No. 164, General Law of Telecommunications, Information and Communication Technology, the Digital Signature Regulation has been issued, approved by Board Resolution No. 075/2020. In this regard, you are requested to make the necessary arrangements to begin testing operation authorization in the LIP System's MLH with certificates issued by a certifying authority starting November 23, 2020.
The scheduling of hours will be carried out from this date through the Help Desk at phones 2661645, 2407262, 2147077, 2661623 or the institutional email ayudalip@bcb.gob.bo
