CIEX No. 6/2022: Submission of Information and Electronic Invoicing Related to the Electronic Payments System and BCB Accounting Operations via Email
The Central Bank of Bolivia requires participating financial entities in the Integrated Payments Liquidation System (LIP) to submit institutional email addresses for receiving operational documents and a dedicated email address for electronic invoices. Entities must provide this information in writing to the Manager of Financial Entities by February 18, 2022. This circular explicitly repeals External Circular SGDB 014/2017.

Gentlemen:
The Central Bank of Bolivia (BCB), to transmit information concerning the Electronic Payments System, requests that your entity send/update in writing to the Management of Financial Entities of the BCB an institutional email address (a distribution group whose administration and update is the responsibility of each entity), which will receive the following information: a. Account statements b. Board of Directors resolutions related to the financial system. c. Official circulars from the BCB. d. Circulars with modifications to BCB schedules. e. Circulars for the authorization of new operations. f. Documents with relevant information on the operations of the Payments System. g. Authorization message for the start of operations on the days of constitution/withdrawal of legal reserves in the RAL Fund.
Additionally, in compliance with Supreme Decree No. 10210000011 dated August 11, 2021, of the National Tax Service, which regulates the Invoicing System in the Plurinational State of Bolivia, we request that your entity send an exclusive (single) institutional email address to receive the electronic invoices issued by the BCB corresponding to your entity.
The requested information must be sent in writing no later than February 18 of the current year, addressed to Lic. Rolando Sergio Colque Soldado - Manager of Financial Entities.
