CIEX No. 9/2021: First Quarter Contribution to the Savings Protection Fund
The Central Bank of Bolivia debits the first quarter 2021 contribution to the Savings Protection Fund from the current and reserve accounts of financial intermediation entities on April 15, 2021. The amount is calculated as 1.25 per thousand of the daily average public liabilities during the quarter. Entities are requested to ensure sufficient funds are available in their national and foreign currency accounts to cover this deduction.

Gentlemen:
The Central Bank of Bolivia notifies all financial intermediation entities that on April 15, 2021, in application of Article 518 of Financial Services Law No. 393, the debit corresponding to the first quarter of 2021 to the Savings Protection Fund (contribution from financial entities) will be made from their Current and Reserve Account or Reserve Account in national and foreign currency. The debited amount will be equivalent to one point two five per thousand (1.25‰) of the daily average of obligations with the public during the aforementioned quarter.
In this regard, we would appreciate your making the respective provision of funds.
