CIEX No. 9/2023: Charges for Balance Confirmation Service
The Central Bank of Bolivia requires that requests for balance confirmation include explicit authorization and the relevant current or reserve account number for debit. If debit is not possible, applicants must deposit Bs200 into account No. 8787 at BCB Treasury branches and attach the deposit receipt. This requirement supplements Circular Externa CIEX No. 3/2023 regarding the Central Bank of Bolivia's Commission and Fine Tables.

Gentlemen:
Complementing External Circular CIEX No. 3/2023 of January 5, 2023, referred to the "Table of Commissions for Services and Table of Fines of the Central Bank of Bolivia," regarding item 21 (Balance Confirmation), it is communicated that the request for balance confirmation must include explicit authorization and the current and/or reserve account number for the corresponding debit or, in its absence, deposit Bs200 (Two Hundred 00/100 Bolivianos) into account No. 8787 "Income from balance information charges" at BCB Treasury Branches and attach the respective deposit slip.
