The Central Bank of Libya amends the annual ceiling for foreign currency sales via prepaid cards to USD 5,000 or its equivalent in other foreign currencies. Commercial banks and the Libyan External Bank are required to implement this limit and ensure their card management, audit, compliance, and anti-money laundering units monitor adherence to the new regulation.
