The Bank of Mexico modifies the Operating Rules of the Reciprocal Payments and Credits Agreement to update the catalog of authorized institutions following changes made by the Central Bank of Ecuador. This update specifically affects the institutions listed in pages A.II.28 and A.II.29 of the agreement's operating rules. The modification is issued to credit institutions to reflect the current authorized participants in the agreement with the Central Banks of ALADI member countries and the Dominican Republic.

TO CREDIT INSTITUTIONS:
SUBJECT: MODIFICATIONS TO THE OPERATING RULES OF THE RECIPROCAL PAYMENTS AND CREDITS AGREEMENT SIGNED BY THE BANK OF MEXICO AND THE CENTRAL BANKS OF THE OTHER MEMBER COUNTRIES OF THE LATIN AMERICAN INTEGRATION ASSOCIATION (ALADI) AND THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC.
The Bank of Mexico, based on Article 28 of the Political Constitution of the United Mexican States, sixth and seventh paragraphs; Article 24 of the Bank of Mexico Law; Article 22 of the Law for Transparency and Orderly Regulation of Financial Services; Articles 8, 10, 17 section I, and 20 Bis section XV of the Internal Regulations of the Bank of Mexico, which grant it the authority to issue provisions through the Directorate of Central Bank Regulations and the Directorate of Banking Services and Operational Control, respectively; as well as on the Sole Article, sections I and IV of the Agreement on the Affiliation of the Administrative Units of the Bank of Mexico; with the objective of promoting the sound development of the financial system and since the Central Bank of Ecuador has made modifications to the catalog of institutions authorized to operate under the reciprocal payments and credits agreement signed by the Bank of Mexico and the Central Banks of the other member countries of the Latin American Integration Association (ALADI) and the Dominican Republic, has resolved to modify the Operating Rules of the reciprocal payments and credits agreement signed by the Bank of Mexico and the Central Banks of the other member countries of the Latin American Integration Association (ALADI) and the Dominican Republic.
For the foregoing, with this Circular we inform you that pages A.II.28 and A.II.29 have been updated.
