The National Credit Regulator warns registrants against scams involving false claims that its banking details have changed, confirming that the details remain unchanged. Registrants are instructed to remain vigilant regarding such calls and to contact the regulator immediately if in doubt to prevent payment errors that could cause their registration to lapse. All renewal fees must be paid via electronic transfer or direct deposit to the specified Standard Bank account, with proof of payments sent to registrations_info@ncr.org.za.
It has come to the attention of the NCR that there are people who are misleading our registrants about the NCR’s banking details. Some of our registrants have received calls advising them that the NCR’s banking details have changed. We would like to warn everyone that these are scams! Our banking details have not changed and the details have remained the same as below. Please be vigilant when you receive such calls and contact the NCR immediately if in doubt. If you make payment into the wrong account, the NCR will not be able to receive the renewal fees and that could cause your registration to lapse.
