The MFSA launches a BOV Bill payment facility allowing Authorised Persons or third parties to process application fees, supervisory fees, or penalty payments through digital banking. This facility extends access beyond current BOV account holders to enable more punctual and efficient receipt allocation. Enclosed guidelines provide instructions on using the BOV Bill payment facility, with further improvements planned to extend the service to other banks.

This enhancement will ensure Authorised Persons receive corresponding receipts allocated against actual fees due, more punctually and efficiently. To date, this payment facility could only be used by persons who are holders of a BOV account. Thanks to this new agreement, payment can be affected by Authorised Persons or by third parties on behalf of an Authorised Person. Further improvements are being worked on to extend this facility to other banks. Further guidance on how to fill in the BOV Bill payment facility are included in the Guidelines Document enclosed with this Circular.
