The Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) issued Circular CSSF-CPDI 25/48 to update the methodology for calculating ex-ante contributions to the Fonds de garantie des dépôts Luxembourg (FGDL). This circular repeals previous regulations from 2020 and 2023 to align with Article 182 of the Law of 18 December 2015 concerning the failure of credit institutions and certain investment firms. It establishes the current procedural framework for determining the financial contributions required from supervised entities to fund the deposit guarantee scheme.
