The Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago issued this circular to notify regulated entities of the Companies (Amendment) Regulations 2019, which introduce revised Form 28 and new Forms 36 through 46. These statutory forms mandate specific filings regarding share warrants, bearer shares, and beneficial ownership declarations under various sections of the Companies Act. Licensees and registered institutions are required to ensure their personnel are aware of these new filing obligations and access the forms via the Central Bank website or Government Printery.

The Legal Notice will be available on the Central Bank’s website and can also be accessed via the Trinidad and Tobago’s Government News website (news.gov.tt) under the E-Gazette tab. The printed forms are available at the Government Printery and are also available on the Ministry of Legal Affairs website.
Please ensure that the relevant persons in your respective institutions are made aware of the Companies (Amendment) Regulations and the statutory filing obligations contained therein.
