Circular Letter No.FEPD (Import) 123/2010-823: Verification of the import price of machinery/goods of projects before opening of Letter of Credit
Authorized Dealer banks must verify necessary documents to ensure the genuineness of the declared price on IMP Form before certifying it as true. If necessary, Authorized Dealers are required to verify the contract price of the goods with the help of the Bangladesh Embassy or High Commission in the country of export. This instruction applies to all Authorized Dealer banks to ensure meticulous compliance with foreign exchange regulations regarding import price declarations.
