This circular informs Belgian insurance and reinsurance undertakings that specific circulars and notices are repealed or removed from the National Bank of Belgium's website. Repealed documents are those outdated relative to the Law of 13 March 2016, while non-prudential documents are removed as they fall outside the Bank's competence, though their repeal remains the authority of the Financial Services and Markets Authority. This action does not alter the applicable legal and regulatory framework, and undertakings remain obligated to comply with the underlying legal provisions referenced in the withdrawn documents.

Circular Page 2/3 NBB_2021_03 20.01.2021 Dear Madam Dear Sir I. Objectives This circular informs insurance and reinsurance undertakings that various circulars and notices are being repealed and/or removed from the website of the Bank, either because these circulars and notices are no longer in compliance with the current requirements of the Law of 13 March 2016 on the status and supervision of insurance or reinsurance undertakings or its implementing measures, or because their purpose is not of a prudential nature and does not fall within the competences of the Bank. II. Obsolete circulars and notices The circulars and notices listed below are obsolete and are therefore repealed as of the publication of this circular. This repeal naturally does not change the applicable legal and regulatory framework and does not release undertakings from compliance with the legal and regulatory provisions referred to in the circulars and notices. The attention of the undertakings is also drawn to the fact that some provisions of the repealed circulars and notices have been incorporated in later circulars.
