Circular No. 10 Easter Holiday
The Palestine Monetary Authority mandates a closure for all specialized lending institutions operating in Palestine on Sunday, April 12, 2026, in observance of the Easter holiday. This directive is issued under Article 22 of Decision No. 132 of 2011 concerning the licensing and supervision of specialized lending institutions.

Subject: Easter Holiday
Based on the provisions of Article No. (22) of Decision No. (132) of 2011 concerning the licensing and supervision system for specialized lending institutions and its amendments, and in light of the esteemed decision of the Council of Ministers, it has been decided to suspend operations at all specialized lending institutions operating in Palestine on Sunday, April 12, 2026, in observance of the Easter holiday.
On this occasion, I extend my congratulations to all employees of lending institutions in Palestine, and we ask God to return this occasion to our Palestinian people with the realization of their aspirations for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
