The Palestine Monetary Authority requires all specialized lending institutions operating in Palestine to take necessary measures to comply with the Palestinian Labor Law regarding the application of the minimum wage. This directive is issued in response to a letter from the Ministry of Labor, highlighting the need to adhere to approved minimum wage standards due to the impact of the exchange rate fluctuation between the US Dollar/Jordanian Dinar and the Israeli Shekel. The compliance obligation applies to all specialized lending institutions under the Authority's supervision.
