Circular No. 2376 — Review and Rationalization of Regulatory Files
The Financial Market Commission amends the Bank Information System Manual and the Savings and Credit Cooperatives Information System Manual by repealing reporting obligations for files C16, C51, D02, D41, P15, P21, and P22, and removing references to file C51 from the Savings and Credit Cooperatives catalog. Corresponding instructions and references to these files are suppressed from the respective regulatory bodies, and the relevant regulatory sheets are replaced. These modifications enter into force one month after publication.

CIRCULAR No. 2,376 Banks Savings and Credit Cooperatives September 2, 2026
This Financial Market Commission (hereinafter “Commission”), exercising its legal powers, especially those provided for in paragraphs 1, 4, and 18 of Article 5 and in paragraph 3 of Article 20 of Decree-Law No. 3,538 of 1980; in Article 14 of the General Banks Law; and pursuant to what was agreed by the Commission’s Council in Ordinary Session No. 511 of August 27, 2026, has deemed it necessary to issue the following updates to the Bank Information System Manual as follows:
- The obligations related to the preparation and submission of files C16, C51, D02, D41, P15, P21, and P22 of the Bank Information System Manual are repealed.
- References to file C51 contained in the “Catalog of information system files” are removed from the Savings and Credit Cooperatives Information System Manual.
Consequently, the instructions and references to said files are suppressed from the aforementioned regulatory bodies, as applicable, while the sheets of the corresponding regulatory bodies are replaced.
VALIDITY: The application of the regulatory modifications established in this Circular shall enter into force within one month counted from its publication.
