Circular No. 25/2026: International Women's Day
The Palestine Monetary Authority orders all banks operating in Palestine to suspend operations on Sunday, March 8, 2026, in observance of International Women's Day. This directive applies to all banks under the Authority's supervision and is issued based on Article 73 of Banking Law No. (09) of 2010.

Subject: International Women's Day
Based on the provisions of Article No. (73) of Banking Law No. (09) of 2010, and in consultation with the esteemed decision of the Council of Ministers, it has been decided to suspend bank operations on Sunday, 08/03/2026, in celebration of International Women's Day.
On this occasion, we extend our warmest congratulations to the resilient and steadfast Palestinian woman, reaffirming our role in empowering her economically.
